Upstate Roller Derby (formerly URGE, founded 2009) is a skater-owned, WFTDA-affiliated flat-track roller derby league rooted in the Upstate of South Carolina, built on the belief that sport is for everyone.

We are a welcoming community where people of all backgrounds, identities, ethnicities, skill levels, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community come together to challenge themselves, build confidence, and form lasting friendships both on and off the track.

Guided by our core values of inclusivity, community, respect, and empowerment, we stand firmly against racism, hate speech, and discrimination in all forms, and are committed to creating a space where our members can thrive as athletes and as people, while making a meaningful impact in the community we proudly serve.
