Each season, URD selects a local non-profit partner to focus on promoting and volunteer efforts. This year we have selected the Queer Wellness Center (QWC), which is a clinical non-profit organization based in the Upstate that seeks to connect LGBTQ+ people with local resources for holistic wellness and community care. Their mission to support the queer community in the Upstate resonates with our own, as they provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks to gather and access mental health resources, gender-affirming care, and peer support.
